Performance

EQE models with RWD feature a single electric motor that produces 288 horsepower and 417 lb-ft of torque. Opting for the 4MATIC® AWD variant adds a second electric motor to power the front wheels. This powertrain boosts your torque to 564 lb-ft, but the horsepower remains unchanged. Finally, the  EQE 500 series has standard AWD with two larger electric motors that produce an impressive 402 horsepower and 633 lb-ft of torque.

Optional equipment includes the AIRMATIC® suspension, an adaptive system that raises your EQE to help clear obstacles and lowers it for improved aerodynamics on the highway. You also have the choice of rear-wheel steering, which provides up to 10 degrees of steering input from the rear. As a result, you can tighten low-speed turns by 5 feet and enjoy swift, stable cornering at higher speeds. The in-dash display has an option for a transparent hood that projects an image of objects beneath the vehicle.

Every EQE uses the same 90.6 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. As a result, its driving range peaks at 279 miles on the rear-drive models, and EQE 350 4MATIC® trims dip to 253 miles of range. The larger EQE 500 SUVs have 269 miles of range, which isn’t much of a drop considering the increase in power.

Interior Comfort and Convenience

The spacious cabin seats up to five adults comfortably. The base model has faux-leather upholstery with options for premium leather on the upper models.
