Mercedes-Benz has launched an exclusive line of electric-powered vehicles called the Mercedes-EQ. These newest models will be the first to wear this exclusive badge welcoming the new age of electrification and the future of Mercedes. According to Mercedes-Benz, this line of vehicles will “embrace the electric future while continuing to build the greatest cars the world has ever seen.

Three Models Have Been Announced

Your Philadelphia Mercedes-Benz dealer, Cherry Hill Mercedes-Benz, has learned that Mercedes-Benz will launch the EQ-badged lineup with three exclusive models. They are:

• The EQ S – based on the expectations set from the premier luxury sedan, this S-class level of luxury will now feature an exclusive electric construction of its own. One feature announced for this vehicle includes the MBUX Hyperscreen, a 56-inch curved glass instrument panel that stretches the entire dash seamlessly. This vehicle is to be the first EQ model available later in 2021.
• The EQ B – Sharing a footprint of the popular GLS SUV, the EQ B will be an all-terrain, all-electric SUV with optional seating for your entire family! The expected launch is to be in 2022.
• The EQ E – If you are looking for the next electric mid-size sedan, this is it! Built on the same ancestry as the E-class sedan, this car will also feature a fully electric drivetrain. Look for this car in 2022 as well.
