However, the GLE 53 comes in an SUV or Coupe body and features a 429-horsepower turbocharged inline-six. The GLE 580 SUV includes a 483-horsepower twin-turbocharged V8, while the GLE 63 S SUV or Coupe includes a 603-horsepower twin-turbocharged V8 instead. When properly equipped, this Mercedes model can tow up to 7,700 pounds.
The GLE 350 is rated at 19/26 mpg, while the GLE 450 performs at 21/26 mpg. In comparison, the GLE 53 and GLW 580 both provide numbers of 18/22 and 17/21 mpg. At the top of the lineup, the GLE 63 S is rated at 15/19 mpg.
