2020 Mercedes-Benz A-Class Hybrid: First Look

February 12th, 2020 by

As Mercedes-Benz continues to move toward electrifying the lineup, we have news about the possibility of a 2020 Mercedes-Benz A-Class Hybrid model. As you look for a new Mercedes-Benz for sale in Philadelphia, it makes sense to see what this lineup will offer. At Mercedes-Benz of Cherry Hill, we have the details you want.

2020 Mercedes-Benz A-Class Hybrid Coming to America

The A-Class plug-in hybrid model is estimated to receive a 40-mile all-electric driving range. It boasts of having “EQ Power,” which is what all electric-powered Mercedes-Benz will have. The A250e is available as both a sedan and hatchback in other markets, but we aren’t sure what we will get yet. Under the hood is a 1.3-liter inline-four with an electric-motor generator. It also contains a 15.6-kWh lithium-ion battery pack. With everything combined, it outputs 218 horsepower plus 332 pound-feet of torque. This power is routed to the front wheels with the help of an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.

In addition to the A-Class hybrid, there are also talks of a B-Class plug-in model. This helps the company reach twenty plug-in vehicles worldwide by 2020.

For now, the 2020 Mercedes-Benz A-Class Hybrid is only available in European markets, but we do expect it to reach our shores. Until it arrives, you can find a potent and powerful A-Class at our dealerships, which is also sure to impress.
